The surfaceCONTROL 3D 3500 snapshot sensor is used for inline inspection of geometry, shape and surface on diffuse reflecting surfaces such as metals, plastics and ceramics. The 3D sensor is designed for integration into production lines, e.g., for 3D measurement of mechanical precision parts. Typical measurement tasks include the inspection of hole spacing, flatness and coplanarity of mounting surfaces, alignment of electronic components on PCBs and the inspection of embossments. For the parameterization of the sensor and the implementation of industrial measurement tasks, the 3DInspect software is delivered with the sensor. Predefined measurement programs simplify the evaluation of the measurement data.
