Brett Hillhouse is the Global Industry Leader for IBM Automotive & Electronics Cloud and Cognitive Software, responsible for industry and technology strategy, as well as customer success for automotive companies around the world. His 25+ years of industry experience include transformation engagements at global automotive and aerospace OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers. The scope of these engagements includes transformation of product development, reuse strategy and implementation, industry compliance, and AI applications. He previously held several industry and leadership positions at IBM and Siemens (formerly SDRC). Brett holds a degree in mechanical and aerospace engineering from Cornell University.

Andy Lapping is an IBM Technical Enablement Specialist and SME for Engineering Lifecycle Management. He has more than 20 years’ experience in model-based systems and software engineering. A subject matter expert in UML and SysML, he is an official content developer for the OMG SysML OSCMP Certification examinations. He is an expert in the application and customization of IBM’s Engineering portfolio and holds a BEng Hons degree in electrical and electronic engineering. Prior to joining IBM via Telelogic and I-Logix, Andy spent 12 years testing and commissioning safety-critical railway signaling systems.
