The Art of EV Propulsion System Design

SPONSORED BY:

What separates a good electric-vehicle propulsion system from a great one? It’s all in the details of system integration – designing, selecting, and calibrating a complex mix of battery chemistry, traction motor, power control, thermal management, charging hardware, and other components, plus layers of software – to create a customer-pleasing system. EV propulsion design is becoming an artform. In this 60-minute Webinar, experts discuss the challenges of these complex systems.

Topics include:

  • Managing energy flows in the electric powertrain
  • Optimization and new solutions in motor cooling and thermal management
  • Electric integrated drive modules – systems approaches
  • Propulsion thermal management optimization in EVs
  • Key challenges facing automotive electrification
  • Hybrid cooling plates for EV battery thermal management

An audience Q&A follows the technical presentations.
