Booth 213-Multichannel LVDT Signal Conditioner
ACCESS IO Products Inc. (San Diego, CA) has developed the Model LVDT- 8A, a linear variable differential transformer (LVDT) signal conditioner board offering eight channels of signal conditioning. The elimination of multiplexer circuitry on the board provides capability of simultaneous outputs that directly correspond to the sensed positions in a real-time environment.
Removable screw-terminal blocks are used on the board to allow connection to LVDTs through screw terminals. Use of five onboard LEDs verifies the full voltage range of the LVDT providing validation of functionality and input circuit connection.
The board is packaged in an industrial enclosure that offers physical protection and features a DIN rail-mounting provision for industrial environments. Accessories include an assortment of 37- pin ribbon cables for connecting the conditioned outputs to various analog-to-digital converter products. The Model LVDT- 8A features a factory-set oscillator frequency per channel from 20 Hz to 20 KHz, and ±10 VDC or ±5 VDC outputs. The signal conditioner operates on 24 VDC power, with factory options for 12 VDC, ±12 VDC, or 48 VDC.
