TVS Diode Arrays
Littelfuse, Inc. (Chicago, IL) has expanded its SP1005 and SP1007 Series General Purpose TVS Diode Arrays (SPA® Devices) with two new 0402 size devices designed to offer modern integrated circuits (ICs) better protection from electrostatic discharge (ESD). The low dynamic resistances of the SP1005-01ETG and SP1007-01ETG allow them to provide a clamping voltage up to 80 percent lower than competing technologies, such as Multi-Layer Varistors (MLVs). Typical applications include protection of keypads, buttons, switches, and low-speed I/Os on consumer electronics such as smartphones, tablet computers, e-readers, portable navigation devices, digital cameras, portable medical devices, etc.
