Processing Card
Nallatech (Camarillo, CA) has announced the AMC-420, a mid-/full-size processing card. The PICMG® AMC.0 R2.0 compliant card features a Xilinx Virtex-6 FPGA and a range of devices that include logic-oriented LXT and DSP-oriented SXT. Its memory architecture supports configurations with up to 1GB DDR3 SDRAM or up to 36MB QDR-II+ SRAM. Backplane communications are enabled by two 1Gb Ethernet links and up to four x4 GTX fat pipe interfaces; supported protocols include PCIe, SRIO, Aurora, and XUAI. The IPMI backplane interface directly connects to an onboard Pigeon Point MMC with integrated IPMI v1.5 capability. The card also features a comprehensive suite of software and FPGA IP cores, including an integrated Xilinx Microblaze processor core, 1 Gb Ethernet, and x4 Gen2 PCIe links. The Microblaze processor core has a Petalogix Linux OS.
